Work description
OLED microdisplays are electro-optical systems including several functional components: CMOS backplane, OLED stack, encapsulation, Color Filter, external electronics. Goal here is to support the development of new functional components by providing a numerical model of the electro-optical chain in order to predict display performances from the characteristics of the individual components. Focus will be here on the electro-optical parameters of the OLED stack.Mission :-Establish a simulation model for the electro-optical chain, based on already existing components, in collaboration with the different experts (CMOS, OLED, Color filter, Test)-Validate the model using existing data from microdisplay production-Use the model to support ongoing development of new OLED stacks
