Work description

Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering intern:Title of Project: Drug Target Prediction Using BioinformaticsWork Description:1.Objective: Identify molecular targets for drug development to treat specific diseases.2.Target Identification: Use computational methods, including databases, sequence alignment, molecular docking, and predictive modeling, to pinpoint key proteins, enzymes, or genes as potential drug targets.3.Lead Drug Prediction: Predict promising drug candidates by employing virtual screening, molecular docking, and structure-based drug design techniques to interact with identified targets.4.Data Analysis and Validation: Assess the accuracy of computational predictions and, if feasible, validate findings through wet lab experiments to confirm biological activity of targets and lead compounds.5.Skill Development: Gain experience with bioinformatics tools, molecular modeling software, and data analysis techniques, enhancing computational biology skills and understanding of drug discovery.6.Research and Innovation: Contribute to drug discovery by identifying new targets and potential drugs, supporting the development of novel therapeutics for unmet medical needs.Expected Outcome:1.
