The option of Work from Home is available for this offer, in which case, the available dates of the internship are from May 2025 - September 2025 and there will be no stipend provided. However, in the case where the intern opts to intern at the employer's address, a stipend will be provided with respect to the dates mentioned in the Work Offered Field. The intern is required to fill out the declaration form attached to confirm the preferred mode of the internship.

Work description

Materials Chemistry Intern : Title: Coatings and Biocomposites: Expanding Nanoplatforms for Industrial and Biomedical Applications Work Description 1. Objective: Address corrosion and wear issues in aircraft and automobiles, and enhance tissue engineering with advanced materials. 2. Nanocoatings: Develop coatings using carbonaceous allotropes and ceramic nanoparticles to improve protection against wear and corrosion, reducing maintenance costs and accidents. 3. Biocomposites: Focus on hydrogels for tissue engineering due to their biocompatibility, self-healing properties, and hydrophilic polymeric network, aimed at repairing bone and cartilage damage. 4. Applications: Enhance both industrial and clinical applications through innovative coating and biocomposite technologies. Expected Outcome: If satisfactory data is generated, the project is expected to result in a research publication, highlighting the methodologies and findings in the given project. If the intern wishes to work from home: 1.We need you to be able to devote at least 5 hours per day to develop tasks. 2. We will set up weekly meetings to follow up on the progress work using Skype. 3. You shall be provided with the existing resources for your aid. 4. Due to the time zone difference, we expect you to be flexible with meeting timings
