Work description
The Foreign Language Coordination of Instituto Tecnológico de Durango is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic German language instructor to teach students at beginner, intermediate, and/or advanced levels. The main goal is to develop students’ communication skills in German while fostering a deeper understanding of German-speaking cultures.Key Responsibilities:-Plan and conduct German language classes following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).-Design interactive lessons that encourage participation and support language acquisition.-Assess student performance through exams, assignments, and in-class activities.-Offer constructive feedback to help students progress in their learning.-Incorporate cultural content into lessons to enrich the language experience.-Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.Qualifications:-Minimum language proficiency level of B2 or higher in German.-Previous experience teaching German as a foreign language is preferred.-Knowledge of CEFR-aligned teaching methodologies.-Strong communication and classroom management skills.-Bachelor’s degree in Education, German Language, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred).-Certification in teaching German as a foreign language (e.g. DaF/DaZ) is a plus.We Offer:-A dynamic and supportive academic environment.-Opportunities for professional growth and development.-Flexible scheduling depending on class demand.
