Work description
The Foreign Language Coordination of Instituto Tecnológico de Durango is looking for a committed and enthusiastic English language instructor to teach students at beginner, intermediate, and/or advanced levels. The primary goal is to develop students’ communicative skills in English while promoting cultural awareness of English-speaking countries.Key Responsibilities:-Plan and deliver English lessons tailored to different levels according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).-Design and implement dynamic, communicative activities that encourage active student participation.-Assess student progress through exams, assignments, and class participation.-Provide continuous feedback to support learning development.-Integrate cultural aspects to help students better understand the language context.-Participate in meetings and training sessions as needed.Qualifications:-Advanced or native-level English proficiency.-Previous experience teaching English as a second language.-Knowledge of teaching methodologies and evaluation based on CEFR.-Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students.-Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, Languages, or related fields (preferred).-ITEP, TOEFL, or equivalent certification is a plus.We Offer:-A collaborative and supportive academic environment.-Opportunities for professional development and continuous training.-Flexible schedules according to course demand.
