Work description
The intern would collaborate with Prof. Clemente Rodríguez who works in the fund management unit within the International Relations Directorate:- Research of Funding Sources: Identify and evaluate funding opportunities, such as grants, investment funds, and donations.- Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with potential funders, organizations, and other key entities that can support the project.- Market and Sector Knowledge: Understand trends, opportunities, and challenges in the project area to identify appropriate funding sources.- Analysis and Evaluation: Evaluate the conditions, requirements, and benefits of different funding options to select the most appropriate ones.- Presentation Skills: Even if you do not write the projects, it is important to be able to present the need for funding and the potential impact to potential funders.- Negotiation: Negotiate terms and agreements with funders to ensure the best possible outcome for the project.
