Salaries are paid according to the following scheme:• During the first 6 months: 72,36 SEK/hour• 6-12 months: 101,31 SEK/hour• After 12 months: 144,73 SEK/hourThis equals 17 830 SEK/month if staying for the full period of work. There is also additional holiday pay.

Work description

Hällnas Handelsträdgård is an organic producer of potted herbs and lettuce, as well as cucumbers and seasonal flowers, marketed under the Norrgrönt brand. We operate a modern production facility with a strong focus on both cost efficiency and environmental sustainability: our greenhouses are heated with biofuel, pests are controlled through biological crop protection, and water is recycled in a closed-loop system. Our crisp cucumbers are grown year-round in greenhouses using a High-wire system and energy-efficient LED lighting- a technique that gives the cucumbers extra crispness and a richer flavor. The greenhouses are of course computer manoeuvred and our growers are using their smartphones to control and adjust climate, light and water. In the production we also have digitalised a lot to facilitate production. We have invested heavily in LED during the last five years and we now have a lot of knowledge how to use LED and different wavelengths to be able to steer the crops in the way we want. In commercial production we see a lot of potential in LED. We have during some years implemented LEAN in the organisation and in the production. We have seen that is affects both the individual satisfaction of the work and also the efficiency and productivity. We are working hard to educate and train our staff in LEAN thinking.
