This project demonstrates a mature and contextually grounded design approach, thoughtfully merging Croatian architectural traditions with contemporary housing needs. The use of local materials such as stone and wood, along with passive design strategies like cross ventilation, solar orientation and flexible apartment configurations, strongly reinforces the project's sustainability goals. The decision to incorporate dual key apartments with varying adaptability showcases sensitivity to diverse user needs, including accessibility for those with limited mobility.
Architecturally, the design exhibits a refined balance between form and function. The interplay of solid and void, inspired by modernist principles, particularly in the open vertical circulation and dynamic facade treatments, adds richness to the user experience and spatial rhythm. The effort to minimize building height to preserve views for adjacent residents also reflects a commendable awareness of community integration and environmental impact.
For future refinement, further exploration of shared community spaces within the housing block could enrich the social dimension of the project. Additionally, the use of fish net inspired railing is a poetic touch this idea could be expanded to further architectural elements to deepen the narrative. Overall, a strong and thoughtful proposal with a clear vision and technical proficiency, excellent work.
