Interior Architecture. sustainability innovation ...computational. more
The project demonstrates a thoughtful integration of architecture with landscape, respecting the sloped terrain and surrounding residential context. The L-shaped massing effectively creates both semi-private and public green spaces, while the use of green roofs and planted ledges supports sustainability and stormwater management. The stepped façade adds visual interest and improves daylight access. Accessibility is well considered, and technical systems (HRV, retention tank, underground garage) are clearly planned. However, further attention to solar gain optimization, biodiversity on the roof, and detailed fire safety around garage and greenery is recommended for a more resilient and compliant design. The interior needs to be more appealing .
My advice To strengthen the proposal, further attention could be given to optimizing solar gains for better energy efficiency, enhancing rooftop biodiversity to support local ecology, and ensuring fire safety—especially around the garage and planted areas. Additionally, the interior spaces could benefit from a more inviting and user-centered design approach to enhance the overall living experience.
