The "Design of Teletalk Headquarters" project envisions a modern high-rise building serving as the central hub for Teletalk, Bangladesh's state-owned mobile operator. The architectural design prioritizes functionality, aesthetics, and public accessibility, aiming to create a landmark that reflects the company's commitment to connectivity and innovation.
The building incorporates several key features to enhance user experience and promote community engagement. Strategically placed courtyards provide open spaces for relaxation and interaction, while a waterbody adds a calming element within the urban environment. Inside, a multipurpose hall and auditorium accommodate various events, meetings, and cultural performances, contributing to the building's role as a social hub. Additionally, retail shops integrated into the design offer convenient services to both occupants and the public, enhancing the street-level experience.
Structurally, the building employs concrete beams and circular columns to create a fluid and soothing visual effect. Hanging floors are supported by cross bracing, ensuring structural integrity, while the use of Argon glass in the curtain walls reduces heat gain, promoting energy efficiency. Overall, the design successfully balances the technical requirements of a corporate headquarters with the need for public engagement and environmental sustainability.
