The Proun Village project is a bold and imaginative rethinking of rural development rooted in memory, nature and adaptability. Designed as a tribute to the builders of the Baikal-Amur highway, the village becomes a living memorial combining spatial poetry with functional clarity. The radial masterplan allows for organic growth while its core a forest belt with wildlife pathways and recreational zones blends architecture with nature in a dynamic and symbiotic way.
The use of monolithic stone frames on deep piles, layered topography and multi-level infrastructure reflects a solid understanding of durable construction in harsh environments. Equally impressive is the sensitive integration of social and ecological systems from guest and courier paths to animal routes and public spaces, all components work together to foster a sense of belonging, movement and coexistence.
Through expressive forms and thoughtful planning, the project becomes more than a village it is a resilient, evolving ecosystem that honors the past and embraces the future.
