The project presents a thoughtful and emotionally resonant concept—using spatial storytelling, materiality, and light to trace the historical journey of Schindler’s salvation of the Jewish people. The intention to evoke emotions and immerse visitors in the context of the place is compelling and aligns well with the sensitive nature of the subject matter. To further strengthen the project's impact, it would be valuable to present a clearer distinction between the preserved historical structures and the new interventions, particularly in terms of material expression and spatial integration. This contrast could be more effectively communicated through visuals or diagrams highlighting the layering of history and contemporary response.
While the atmospheric renderings communicate the narrative intent, the absence of architectural drawings limits the ability to assess the design's spatial logic, feasibility, and detailing. Detailed plans, sections, and construction details and used materials analysis would demonstrate how the concept translates into a buildable reality and help reinforce the proposal's depth and credibility. Overall, the project shows strong conceptual potential, and with more comprehensive architectural documentation and spatial articulation, it could become a powerful and evocative piece of commemorative architecture.
Best of luck as you continue developing this meaningful work.
