The OctaVista Elementary School presentation is well-organized and communicates its vision with clarity. There’s a balance in how the narrative, visuals, and technical details are laid out, allowing the viewer to follow the project’s intent without confusion. The written statements are strong—they not only explain the idea but also express the educational values behind the design. Your words reflect a deep understanding of how architecture can positively shape the way children learn, grow, and collaborate.
The renderings are visually striking and give a good sense of atmosphere, form, and light. They highlight the uniqueness of the octagon-shaped classrooms and how these spaces break away from the traditional to foster creativity. However, there’s an opportunity to enhance the presentation further by incorporating more realistic vegetation and populated scenes. Adding people in various scenarios would make the project feel more alive and relatable—it’s a school, after all, and showing how children and teachers interact within the space would strengthen your story.
Your floor plans are thoughtfully composed and clearly reflect the idea of flexibility and user-centered design. The zoning is intuitive, with a strong connection between learning, recreation, and exploration. The layout encourages a sense of movement and community, from classrooms to laboratories to outdoor areas. What’s impressive is how you managed to create a space that is both structured and playful—perfectly suited to young learners.
The technical aspects are equally commendable. Using a shell structure for the multipurpose hall and a skeleton technique for the rest of the school shows innovation grounded in function. It’s not just about unique shapes—it’s about performance, flexibility, and safety. These choices align beautifully with the educational mission of the project.
Thank you, Ahmed Sameh, and congratulations on joining the Inspireli Competition. The OctaVista Elementary School is a forward-thinking proposal that champions learning through environment, form, and experience. Your design celebrates the future of education with originality and purpose, and we look forward to seeing how your ideas continue to evolve in your architectural journey.
