I really enjoy how this project taps into the core of what architecture competitions are all about—pushing boundaries and testing creativity. The way the design mirrors the student experience, from struggling with conflicting ideas to refining concepts, is spot-on. The idea of layering different "floating masses" really captures the emotional ups and downs of the process. It feels like the building itself reflects the journey that students go through—chaotic at times, but ultimately leading to clarity and achievement.
I also like the way the space is organized. The first floor gives the students a place to breathe and prepare, while the second floor offers the quiet solitude needed for deep focus. Then on the third floor, there's this sense of culmination with the exhibition hall and presentation room, showing how the building helps students evolve through each phase of their project. It’s a really thoughtful flow that mirrors their creative development, and that makes it so much more than just a place to work. It becomes an experience in itself.
The concrete structure is solid, providing the stability needed for such a dynamic space. I think the façade does a great job of making a statement, but the perspectives could be a little more refined to show how the building interacts with its surroundings—just to make it feel even more connected. But overall, this design feels very much in tune with the needs of students competing, offering both a physical and emotional space for growth.
It’s clear there was a lot of thought behind this design, and it’s not just a place to work, but a space that nurtures creativity and ambition. Great work, and thanks for sharing such a fresh take on student competition spaces!
