Dear Jan Neugebauer,
Your design for Opava's Living Pavilion is an innovative and inspiring concept that beautifully combines modern technology with sustainability. The use of 3D-printed concrete allows for dynamic and organic architectural forms that blend seamlessly with the surrounding urban environment. The thoughtful integration of green roof systems, solar panels, and vertical gardens not only enhances the building’s ecological footprint but also sets a precedent for sustainable urban architecture.
The pavilion’s multi-functional spaces—library, information center, and café—serve as excellent focal points for community engagement and learning. The addition of the interactive rooftop terrace offers a unique way to connect with the city while promoting social interaction and relaxation.
As an experienced architect, I would recommend ensuring that the structural elements are thoroughly tested for long-term durability, especially given the innovative use of 3D printing. Also, enhancing the acoustic design, particularly in the library and information center, could further improve the user experience by ensuring a calm and focused environment.
Best of luck with your education and future career!
