Great work on addressing scale and community in such a thoughtful way. Breaking down the large blocks into smaller units really helps humanize the environment and brings it closer to the historic urban rhythm of Guimarães. The focus on subtle interventions—like enhanced greenery, street furniture, and traffic calming—shows a smart, sensitive approach that improves everyday life without drastic changes.
I also love how the design of apartments promotes social connection through gradual transitions from public to private spaces. Features like porches, front gardens, and balconies beautifully blur boundaries, encouraging community interaction while respecting individual privacy. The circular stairs add a dynamic architectural element that complements the overall human-centered design.
