As Aldo Rossi once provocatively said, “copying is for masters.” It’s a phrase that should invite deeper reflection on certain design choices within this project. In this case, however, I find it difficult to fully appreciate the proposal, as it gives the impression of being a diluted imitation of MVRDV’s work—without truly capturing the conceptual clarity or spatial intelligence of their approach.
Referencing established practices is absolutely valid—it's how we learn and grow—but drawing inspiration doesn't mean stacking elements or pasting stylistic gestures together. Architecture needs coherence, intention, and character. Here, the composition feels fragmented and somewhat forced, as if too many ideas were layered without a clear guiding narrative or sensitivity to the site.
A visually appealing rendering is not enough to convey architectural depth. The true strength of a project lies in its spatial logic, materiality, and atmosphere—qualities that seem underdeveloped in this case. I’m convinced you're capable of producing something more authentic, more grounded, and far more powerful if you focus on what you want to say architecturally, rather than mimicking trends or external forms.
