The project offers a very ambitious and organized cinematographic complex, which successfully merges cinema production, public programming, and the city within a coherent architectural solution. By applying a fragmented massing concept, a large-scale activity is resolved into legible volumes, thus creating a lively skyline and a prominent waterfront frontage. In terms of its solution, it is evident that the project satisfies both functional needs of screening, production, and festivals, while its diagrams and perspective drawings communicate details of the site's programming and zoning.
Recommendation: One is to further develop the public realm strategy at ground level by explaining how everyday uses relate to festival specific uses in the city.
