The "SYMbiosis" project presents a socially innovative and architecturally sensitive solution that fosters integration between students and the wider community of Sopot. The carefully considered programmatic mix—including a co-working space, academic canteen, and vernissage area—encourages intergenerational interaction while addressing real urban challenges such as student housing shortages and social inclusivity. The architectural language, referencing local Sopot traditions with modernized loggias, balconies, and wooden façades, successfully harmonizes with the historic context. The environmental strategies, including green terraces and preservation of existing trees, further demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability. A deeper articulation of seasonal flexibility and operational logistics could further enhance the project’s long-term viability. Overall, this proposal offers a commendable and progressive model for community-based urban living.
