This project presents a highly thoughtful and contextually sensitive vision for revitalizing Brněnec around the historically significant Schindler factory site. The clear urban structure, anchored by an axial spine leading to Oskar Schindler Square, successfully organizes public, semi-public, and private realms while promoting inclusivity and local identity. The sensitive integration of green buffer zones, woonerf principles, and revitalized riverfront spaces—including an amphitheater and pedestrian crossings—demonstrates strong ecological and social awareness. The varied architectural materiality and incorporation of green roofs and solar panels reflect a sophisticated commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency. To further strengthen the project, deeper articulation of the adaptive reuse strategy for the remaining historic structures could enhance the historical continuity. Overall, "Schindler’s Legacy Village" is an inspiring and comprehensive model for heritage-driven urban renewal with strong environmental and community foundations.
