Faza Raufa Sani, your presentation is deeply thoughtful and well-aligned with the sensitive and meaningful purpose of your project. The narrative that underpins your concept—giving voice, dignity, and a renewed sense of purpose to older adults—is not only timely but powerfully conveyed. The architectural choices reflect this beautifully, especially through the organic forms and biophilic approach that offer spatial softness and comfort. The emotional design strategy resonates strongly, with materials and textures carefully selected to engage sensory awareness in a non-intrusive way.
The layout of your floor plans clearly responds to the specific physical and emotional needs of elderly users. Spaces are intuitively zoned, with social engagement areas gently separated from more private or meditative ones. Your design thinking, especially the single-story layout, accessible ramps, and visual markers through color accents, shows an excellent grasp of how architecture can become an inclusive, healing tool. The way you’ve shaped the spatial experiences through circulation and flow—especially in avoiding monotony for dementia survivors—is a particularly sensitive and well-researched decision.
Visually, your board is compelling. The use of earthy tones combined with terracotta highlights creates a sense of warmth and calm, reinforcing your emotional design strategy. The balance of diagrams, plans, and narrative is well-executed, making the board not only informative but visually harmonious—very appropriate for a competition setting. However, there are areas in the rendering that can be improved. Enhancing the lighting and refining your material textures will bring more realism to your visuals and elevate the emotional atmosphere you're striving for. Additionally, making the vegetation look more realistic—both in terms of species choice and rendering detail—will greatly enhance the sense of place and bring your biophilic approach to life more vividly.
Congratulations on joining the Inspireli Competition and thank you for sharing such an impactful and emotionally intelligent project. Your work highlights how architecture can create spaces that heal, empower, and restore dignity. Keep refining your craft—your vision carries both meaning and promise.
