The overall presentation of your project is both structured and thoughtfully articulated. The composition of the boards demonstrates a clear narrative from urban analysis to spatial experience, which reflects strong graphic planning and presentation skill. The use of color, particularly the signature pink line and its journey across the site, not only enhances visual identity but also strengthens the storytelling element in a very poetic and memorable way. Your renderings beautifully capture the materiality and atmosphere of spaces, while your use of diagrams and plans is both precise and engaging—making the functional flow and intent of each space easy to understand.
Your project statements are compelling and purpose-driven. The way you embedded the cultural and educational life of Litomyšl into the architectural proposal shows an impressive sensitivity to context and social value. The concept of blending the new program in wood and furniture restoration with a vibrant, flexible urban space is not only unique but visionary. The symbolic continuation of the railway axis as a unifying spine through a series of dynamic public interventions is conceptually rich and physically convincing. I especially appreciate how the transformation of the granary into a living, social, and cultural hub retains the essence of its industrial past while welcoming a younger, creative community.
The architectural floor plans and masterplanning are clearly resolved. They show a deep understanding of user engagement and spatial programming—especially the way the dormitories, workshops, and public spaces intertwine. The detailed attention to both indoor and outdoor use, along with the flexibility of mobile workshops, responds perfectly to the shifting rhythms of city life. Your documentation and study of the different materials for various building typologies also demonstrate thoughtful construction logic and long-term adaptability.
I particularly liked how you included the clubroom and bakery—these elements add warmth and inclusivity, enriching the daily lives of both locals and visitors. The isometric representations showing user activities are fantastic additions—they’re not only visually striking but help convey the soul of your project: a space alive with learning, craft, and community.
Thank you, Petra Deáková, Ester Vaňová, Jakub Lampa, and congratulations for joining the Inspireli Competition! Your project, Řememysl, shows great promise in its integration of cultural heritage, education, and urban renewal. With its strong graphic language, insightful design story, and meaningful architectural response, this is a proposal that truly celebrates place-making and the spirit of Litomyšl.
