This project demonstrates a comprehensive and thoughtful approach to sustainable urban and ecological regeneration, responding sensitively to the socio-economic shifts caused by the Padma Bridge construction. The conceptual framework of "Symbiosis between Ecology & Economy" is particularly compelling, offering a holistic strategy that reintroduces eco-tourism while celebrating the cultural identity centered around Hilsha fishing. The zoning and detailed design of the "Hilsha Celebration Complex" thoughtfully anchor the revitalization narrative. Moreover, the integration of wetland restoration and adaptive reuse of ponds exemplifies innovative nature-based solutions. Strengthening the visual and physical connectivity between zones and enhancing resilience measures against future environmental risks could further enrich the project. Overall, this proposal presents a visionary yet grounded model for sustainable riverfront redevelopment.
