This is the second project of yours that I’ve seen, and I truly appreciate the consistent creativity and depth in your concepts. The Nest Avian Research Center presents a compelling vision inspired by nature, and the way it integrates research and education in two distinct yet connected zones is commendable. The technical data is clearly explained, and the spatial organization, especially the separation of visitor and researcher pathways, is very well thought out.
The design showcases a strong narrative and purpose. One suggestion for enhancement would be to consider how the architecture communicates the aviary’s natural qualities through its materials and spatial atmosphere, especially in renderings or sections. It would also help to illustrate more how the educational and research areas spatially relate to the habitat areas for birds.
Also, a question to consider in the development of this project:
Will the building incorporate a separation between birds that are allowed to fly freely outdoors and those that are kept within the controlled environment of the center? This clarification can influence how you handle environmental control, enclosure types, and visitor interaction.
A thoughtful and inspiring proposal—Sara Attia, well done!
