Architecture and Sustainability more
This is a well-thought-out and meaningful architectural proposal that insightfully responds to the fast-paced lifestyle of architecture students. I found the concept of designing the structure as a living organism—with each program functioning like a cell organelle—both clever and highly effective. The project name Struccell is witty and memorable, reinforcing the concept in a creative way.
I appreciate how clearly the design addresses the real needs of students. The inclusion of rest areas, digital fabrication tools, reusable material storage, and study zones all within one building reflects a deep understanding of the student experience. It’s a smart and student-centered approach that promotes both productivity and well-being.
The drawings and visual presentation are clear and compelling. I particularly liked the use of a glass façade to reveal the building’s inner workings—it turns the structure into a living gallery and invites curiosity. The thoughtful solution to the site’s elevation using wide public steps also enhances accessibility and creates a welcoming open space for events.
I really enjoyed reviewing this project.
Congratulations, Asya Özgündüz, on this innovative and user-focused design, and thank you for sharing it with the Inspireli community!
