First, the project shows a excellent and rational response to its industrial context with regard to zoning and spatial relationships. There is a good separation between production, administration, and service facilities, enabling a smooth functional flow and allowing for safety and clarity. A low-profile massing and terraced arrangement of the building relate very well to the sloped site and ensure a good merging of architecture with the landscape.
Second, the material strategy is well-integrated with the structural strategy. While using a steel frame structural strategy, the use of translucent polycarbonate façados balancing durability, control, and privacy is in line with the architectural strategy.
An improvement could be introduced in the way the public entry process is defined. Although the project is efficient as an industrial building, its main entrance is rather neutral and could be better defined in terms of architectural features and spatial hierarchy. A more defined entry threshold could be achieved by extending the canopy or through the use of contrasting materials or landscape screening, thus making it easier to orient users in the site.
