"The design shows a promising start. However, greater attention could be given to responding to the local climate and site context. By anchoring the design more closely to its environmental conditions and surrounding community, the concept can be further strengthened and made more meaningful. A deeper integration with the site’s natural elements, cultural identity, and user needs would help elevate the project from a good design to one with lasting impact and relevance."
1. Spatial Experience Audit
- Walk through the design from the user’s perspective (arrival → usage → exit).
- Enhance thresholds, transitions, or sensory experiences (light, sound, texture).
2. Materiality Review
- Reassess selected materials for local availability, embodied carbon, and longevity.
- Introduce tactile contrast (e.g., warm timber vs cool steel) where human interaction occurs.
3. Microclimate Design
- Add shading strategies, cross-ventilation, or green buffers to reduce heat gain and improve comfort passively.
