This project demonstrates a sensitive and intelligent approach to architectural restoration, balancing heritage preservation with contemporary adaptation. The dialogue between the old and the new is handled with great care, respecting the historical fabric while introducing modern spatial clarity. The reuse of the attic as an exhibition space and the sculptural stair intervention create a poetic continuity between time, movement, and memory. The project succeeds in merging history with modern life through material honesty and spatial rhythm.
My advice is to further refine how contemporary insertions engage with the historic envelope—especially in transitions between materials, lighting, and circulation. Exploring more nuanced contrasts in texture and color could enhance the narrative of time layers. Additionally, considering accessibility and visitor flow in the exhibition path would strengthen both functionality and experience.
