The "NEXUS CITYSCAPE" project envisions a transformative urban development in Dhaka's Banani area, aiming to create a vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive community. Spanning 14.5 acres, the mixed-use complex integrates affordable housing with essential amenities, fostering a 15-minute city where residents can live, work, and access services within walking distance. The design emphasizes pedestrian-friendly connectivity, green spaces, and cultural inclusivity, aligning with the philosophy of "New Contextualism."
Architecturally, the project reimagines conventional forms through dynamic spatial configurations, enhancing openness and interaction. A network of meandering pathways encourages exploration and social engagement, while diverse communal spaces cater to various needs and activities. Sustainable building practices, including green roofs and vertical gardens, promote environmental responsibility. The phased development approach ensures adaptability and resilience, aiming to meet the needs of current and future generations.
